Russian Volume is the latest craze in eyelash extensions. The end result is far fluffier, more believable and safer for the natural lashes as there is less weight placed on the lash.
How are Russian Volume Lashes done?
Russian Volume Lashes consist of applying multiple lash extensions to each natural eyelash in a fanned shape. This can result in having 200- 500 eyelash extensions applied to each eye, rather than the regular 80-100 extensions per eye with the classic 1:1 eyelash extensions. The extensions used are even lighter, and finer than Siberian Mink Eyelash extensions, which means multiple lashes can be applied without damaging the lash, looking “clumpy”, or feeling too heavy and unnatural. When multiple volume lashes are applied, they create a full and natural feather-effect look. 2D = approximately 200 lashes per eye, 3D = approximately 300 lashes per eye this can continue upto 5D. This technique can be done up to 8D, but anything over 4 D can be quite over dramatic and damaging
How long do Volume Lashes take?
This technique contains a lot of patience and requires a significant amount of skill compared to classic eyelash extensions. As a result volume lashes can take a little longer than other services, roughly 2 hours for a full set.
How long do Volume Lashes last?
As there are significantly more lashes per natural lash (between two and five, depending on the service), Volume Lashes will last much longer before you will notice that you require a refill. Volume lashes are known to last 3 to 4 weeks if maintained with refills.
